Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone to come in Nepal for the shoot of her next film. Vishal Bhardwaj helmed un-titled crime drama featuring Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan in lead roles is set to go on floors from March 5.
It has been almost three years when they shared screen space in Shoojit Sircar’s mild comedy-drama Piku. Produced by T-Series, Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures and KriArj Entertainment the film will start shooting proceedings very soon. Earlier, the film was set to be directed by Honey Trehan, but certain creative differences forced Vishal Bhardwaj to take the project.
Deepika-Irrfan’s quirky chemistry from their previous outing was loved by the audience, and this time the actors will essay more of a serious role.Sources suggest that the film is based on the life of mafia queen Rahima Khan and is adapted from Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai, Prernaa clarified that the film is a work of fiction.
