We have been hearing students cheating in exams. Few years ago, the photos of the parents of Indian students climbing walls like a spider to help their kids had gone viral on social media. After that, Indian officials had tightened the security and had barred the students from cheating.
With the decision into implementation, it has been reported that someone million students skipped exams in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
According to the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board, 289,308 students registered in the exams failed to show up on the first day and some 215,000 more on day two. The total number of absentees rose to 633,217 on the third day and it reached 1,004,400 on the fourth day of this year’s exams which are due to end on March 12.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath has said that the examination system will be simplified following the reports that around one million student have skipped their exams.
